That variety means no two TV jobs are quite the same. We repair and fit aerials, install satellite dishes, set up Sky Stream and Freely, and wall-mount TVs, always with a fixed price agreed first.

Freeview in Bury St Edmunds normally comes from the Sudbury transmitter to the south. West Suffolk is gently rolling rather than hilly, so most homes get a decent signal with a correctly aligned rooftop aerial. Problems tend to come from ageing equipment, aerials left pointing the wrong way after earlier work, or trees and neighbouring buildings in the line of sight. We check the signal at your address and set the aerial up on Sudbury properly.
Older houses in the town centre around Angel Hill and the Abbey Gardens often have chimney-mounted aerials that are awkward to reach, and conservation rules may limit what can be fixed to the front. Loft aerials or discreet rear-facing installs can work well, and we'll advise on the best option for the building.
Newer homes on Moreton Hall and the estates around the edge of town are sometimes handed over with only a loft aerial, or none at all. We fit rooftop aerials, add TV points in bedrooms and set up wall-mounted TVs with tidy, hidden cabling.

He quickly diagnosed the problem as not being the aerial, but the masthead amp & power unit. He had a spare on his van, and the work was completed within 30 minutes.

The town is generally served by the Sudbury transmitter. If your aerial has been pointing elsewhere or was knocked out of line, you may be missing channels or seeing a blocky picture. We'll test the signal at your home and align the aerial to give the most reliable reception.
It depends on the building and local planning rules, so check with the council if you're unsure. Where a dish on the front isn't allowed, it can often go on a rear wall or out of view. Sky Stream is another option, since it needs no dish at all.
