When you need a new TV aerial

We always test first. If your current aerial can be repaired, we'll tell you. These are the usual reasons a replacement makes sense.

  • The aerial is rusty or corrodedCorrosion weakens the signal and gets worse over time. A new aerial and fresh connections usually fix it for good.
  • It's bent, loose or storm damagedA damaged aerial can't hold a steady signal and may be unsafe. We take it down and fit a secure replacement.
  • It no longer suits your area's frequenciesSome older aerials don't suit the frequencies now used for Freeview. A suitable wideband aerial restores the missing channels.
  • Your home has no working aerialNew builds, extensions and homes where the aerial was removed need a new installation for Freeview.
  • You're adding more TVsA new aerial, with an amplifier where needed, can feed extra TV points around the house.

What our customers say

★★★★★
He quickly established that it was probably caused by the existing aerial being very rusty. He then replaced the old aerial and tidied up the cabling.

TV aerial installation FAQs

How much does a TV aerial installation cost?

It depends on access, the aerial needed, the cable route and how many TV points you want. You get a free, no obligation quote before any work starts, and there's no call out charge for quoted work.

How long does an aerial installation take?

Most standard installations are finished in one visit. The time depends on access and how much cabling is needed.

Can my existing aerial be repaired instead?

Often, yes. We test the aerial, cables and sockets first. If a repair will fix the problem, we'll recommend that rather than a new aerial.

Do you install aerials for Freeview?

Yes. We fit and align digital aerials for Freeview and tune your TVs and set-top boxes once the work is done.

Can you take down an old aerial?

Yes. We remove old aerials when fitting a replacement, and can take one down on its own if it's no longer needed.

How soon can an engineer visit?

Same-day visits are often possible and a local one-hour service may be available, depending on your area. Calling early gives you the best chance.

Do you work for landlords and businesses?

Yes. We install aerials for homeowners, tenants, landlords, letting agents and businesses, including flats with communal systems.
