We repair and fit aerials, install Freesat and Sky dishes, run extra TV points, set up Sky Stream and wall mount TVs across East Ayrshire and on to Irvine. Your price is agreed with you first.

Most homes in Kilmarnock get Freeview from the Darvel transmitter, a short way up the Irvine Valley. Being close usually gives a strong signal, but the valley sides, trees and taller buildings can still cause problems on particular streets. An aerial that's old, damaged or slightly misaligned will often lose channels even here. We take a meter reading at your address before recommending anything.
Galston, Newmilns and Darvel sit along the valley floor, with rising ground on either side. Some homes get a clear line to the transmitter and others are shadowed, so aerial height and position matter. We find the best spot on the roof and fit a suitable aerial.
Older sandstone terraces around Kilmarnock often have long, aged cable runs and multiple splitters that weaken the signal. On newer estates in Kilmaurs, Crosshouse and Stewarton, homes may have TV sockets but no aerial. We replace tired cable, fit amplifiers where useful and connect new aerials to the existing points so every room works.

He quickly diagnosed the problem as not being the aerial, but the masthead amp & power unit. He had a spare on his van, and the work was completed within 30 minutes.

Even close to a transmitter, valley terrain can block a direct line to the mast. Trees, buildings and an aerial mounted too low make it worse. We test the signal on your roof, adjust the aerial position or height, and replace it if it's worn out.
Yes. We run a new cable from your aerial or existing system to the room you want, fit a wall socket and test the signal. If you're adding several rooms, we may fit an amplifier so every TV gets a strong enough signal.
