The Black Hill transmitter stands in North Lanarkshire, so many homes here are close to the source. Being near it usually means plenty of signal, yet towns set in the Clyde valley and lower ground around Hamilton and Motherwell can still see dropouts if an aerial has moved or aged.
East Kilbride, Hamilton and the Wishaw area have grown with new estates, and plenty of those homes were handed over with sockets but no aerial, or a TV wall with no cabling behind it. We fit and align the aerial, connect every room and mount the TV.

Being near the transmitter helps, but a misaligned or corroded aerial, a failed amplifier or damaged cable can still cause breakup. Homes in dips and valleys can also be shadowed. We test from the aerial to the socket to find the actual cause.
