Mansfield takes its Freeview from the Waltham transmitter in Leicestershire, which serves much of the East Midlands. Over that distance a well-aimed aerial in good condition really counts, and the gentle ridges between the Ashfield towns can leave some roads with a weaker signal than others. A quick check often shows the aerial has slipped a few degrees or the cable has let in water, both easy to put right.

Waltham, near Melton Mowbray, is the main transmitter for Mansfield and the Ashfield towns. If your aerial has been knocked out of line by wind, or was pointed elsewhere years ago, you may lose channels. We realign or replace it and check signal quality across every multiplex before we leave.
Yes. If you've moved to Sky Stream or Freeview and the dish is no longer needed, we take it down, remove the bracket and tidy away the old cable. If you'd rather keep it for Freesat, we can check and realign it instead so it carries on working.
