North London picks up Freeview from Crystal Palace, across the river in south London. The hills around Hampstead, Highgate and Muswell Hill are a mixed blessing: homes on the higher slopes often have a clear view south, while houses on the north-facing side or down in dips can find the hill itself in the way. We test at your address to find the strongest position for the aerial before fitting anything.

Crystal Palace is to the south, so homes on the far side of these hills can lose line of sight to it. A taller mast, a higher-gain aerial or a different spot on the roof often recovers the signal. If not, a Freesat dish facing the southern sky is a dependable alternative.
