Slough is low-lying land in the Thames Valley, so there are few hills to block the signal. Most reception problems here come from nearby buildings, especially around the town centre, from trees, or from aerials and cables that are past their best. Some homes can receive more than one signal, so we test at your property and aim the aerial at whichever gives the steadiest picture, rather than just pointing it the same way as next door.
Newer apartment buildings in central Slough usually run a communal TV system. When a single flat loses channels, the fault is often in the wall socket or cabling inside it. We test at the wall plate, fix what's on your side and explain plainly if the shared system needs attention.
With the trading estate and a busy high street, Slough has plenty of businesses wanting CCTV, and lots of homeowners want cameras covering drives and side passages too. We fit CCTV and burglar alarms, positioning cameras to cover entrances, yards and parking.

He quickly diagnosed the problem as not being the aerial, but the masthead amp & power unit. He had a spare on his van, and the work was completed within 30 minutes.

Usually. In flats with a communal system, a dead socket often comes down to a loose connection, a damaged faceplate or a broken cable inside the flat. We test the signal at the wall to find the fault. If the problem is in the shared system, we'll let you know.
