Halifax and the towns along the Calder, from Sowerby Bridge to Hebden Bridge, have stone terraces clinging to slopes that can leave aerials in a signal shadow. We sort aerials, satellite, Sky Stream and wall mounting, with a price agreed upfront.

Our engineers climb the hills around Halifax regularly, covering Elland, Brighouse and Todmorden too. Check your postcode to see if we reach you.
Emley Moor is the main transmitter for Halifax and much of Calderdale, but the valleys here are steep enough that line of sight to it is often blocked. Some homes rely on smaller local relays, and two houses on the same street can need aerials pointing in different directions. We take a proper signal reading before deciding on the aerial and alignment. Weather on the tops can be wild, so any aerial we fit up there is secured with that in mind.
Hebden Bridge, Todmorden and Sowerby Bridge sit low between steep sides, which can cut terrestrial signal sharply. A higher mast, a more sensitive aerial or a Freesat dish aimed at the satellite are common fixes, and we will explain which suits your house.
Many Halifax homes are solid stone terraces and back-to-backs. Chimneys are often the only good fixing point, and damp can attack old cable runs. We replace worn lashings and cable, and can mount TVs on thick stone walls with the right fixings. Removing redundant dishes from stonework and filling the holes neatly is another regular request.

He quickly diagnosed the problem as not being the aerial, but the masthead amp & power unit. He had a spare on his van, and the work was completed within 30 minutes.
Ross mounted my TV on the wall with great precision and care—everything looks fantastic.

Yes. We cover Hebden Bridge, Todmorden, Brighouse, Elland, Sowerby Bridge, Northowram, Illingworth and King Cross as well as Halifax. Or simply put your postcode into the checker here for a yes or no.
Steep hillsides around Halifax can block the signal from Emley Moor, so the aerial may be receiving very little. Depending on what we measure, the fix might be realigning to a nearby relay, a higher mast or a high gain aerial. If none gives a reliable picture, Freesat is a good alternative.
Often, yes. A dish points south east at the satellite rather than at a ground transmitter, so it can work where hills block terrestrial signal, provided nothing tall is in the way to the south east. As Freesat approved installers, we can check the line of sight and fit the dish.
