Reception around Lancaster depends a lot on where you are. The Lune valley, the fells to the east and the open coast along Morecambe Bay all affect how signal reaches a roof, and some villages are served by smaller relay masts rather than a main transmitter. We check which signal is strongest at your address before choosing and aiming the aerial.
Shared houses near the university and in the city often need a TV point in each bedroom. We fit a distribution amplifier and run separate cables so every room gets a strong, independent signal without splitters dragging the picture down. Cables are clipped neatly along skirting or routed through the loft, which keeps shared houses tidy and safe.
Homes along the bay in Morecambe, Heysham and Bolton-le-Sands get a lot of wind off the water. Brackets corrode and aerials drift out of line, so we fit sturdy hardware and sealed connections that stand up to coastal weather. Up the Lune valley at Caton and Halton, the issue is more often weak signal, and a higher-gain aerial or more height usually helps.

Valley homes can sit in a weak spot for the main signal. Depending on what we measure, a higher-gain aerial, a taller mast or pointing at a different mast may help. If terrestrial reception is not reliable, Freesat via a dish gives you free channels instead.
