TV aerial & satellite engineers in Merthyr Tydfil

In the South Wales valleys, signal depends heavily on where your house sits on the hillside. In Merthyr, homes high on one side of the valley may get a good signal while those opposite are screened, and smaller relay transmitters fill many of the gaps. We take readings at your address to find the best source and fit the aerial to match, or suggest Freesat if terrestrial reception is weak.

Terraces on the valley sides

Merthyr's terraced streets are built into steep slopes, so getting to chimneys can be awkward. We fit aerials safely at height, replace old and damaged ones, and run neat cable down the front or back of the house. Steep back lanes sometimes make the rear of the house the easier place to work.

Wind and rain on high ground

Places like Dowlais and the upper valley get more than their share of wet, windy weather. We use strong masts and brackets, sealed connectors and good outdoor cable so the aerial stays put and the signal stays clear. If an old aerial has blown loose, we replace the mast and bracket rather than just re-pointing it.
