We fit high-gain aerials where signal is weak, install Freesat and Sky dishes, add TV points and wall mount TVs. Every job is quoted for free and priced before we start.
Every service is available in this area. Choose one for what's involved, what affects the price and common questions.
As well as Ripon itself, we cover Masham, Bishop Monkton and Sharow. Enter your postcode to check whether we reach your village.
In and around Ripon, how good your Freeview is depends heavily on location. The city itself usually gets a reasonable signal, but villages in the river valleys and farms towards Masham and Kirkby Malzeard can be shielded by rising ground and trees, and some are served by small relay masts. We measure the signal at your property before deciding what aerial to fit.
Remote properties often need a high-gain aerial on a taller mast, sometimes mounted on an outbuilding to get a clearer line. Where terrestrial reception is just too weak, a Freesat dish gives you free channels without relying on it. We can also mount TVs on thick stone walls using fixings suited to the masonry.
Ripon's older terraces and townhouses often have aerials and cabling that have been in place for years. We renew corroded fittings and cables, and we can run extra TV points neatly through lofts without disturbing period features. Where broadband is good enough, Sky Stream is another option for Sky without a dish.

Everything tested and explained before we leave.
He quickly diagnosed the problem as not being the aerial, but the masthead amp & power unit. He had a spare on his van, and the work was completed within 30 minutes.
Ross mounted my TV on the wall with great precision and care—everything looks fantastic.

It depends on the location. Many rural homes need a high-gain aerial and a higher mounting point to pull in a stable signal. We test first and recommend the right set-up. If the signal is too weak, a satellite dish with Freesat is a reliable option.
Sky Stream needs a steady broadband connection rather than a dish, so it depends on your internet speed. If broadband is slow, a satellite dish for Sky or Freesat may suit you better. We can advise on which works best at your property.
