Wembley gets its Freeview from Crystal Palace, a long way off to the south-east. Large new buildings around Wembley Park and the stadium can block or bounce the signal for homes behind them, and the area's gentle hills mean some streets sit lower than others. A well-aligned rooftop aerial is usually essential. We take readings first so we know what will work.
The new developments near the stadium almost all use shared TV systems, and some don't allow private dishes. We connect flats to the communal system, fault-find dead sockets, and set up Sky Stream or mount Sky Glass on the wall. Wall-mounting on thin partition walls needs the right fixings, which we bring.
Away from the new towers, much of Wembley is interwar housing. Older aerials and cables here are often worn out, and extended homes want extra TV points. Yes. We fit a suitable bracket for Sky Glass and check the wall construction first, as many new flats have plasterboard or metal stud walls that need specific fixings. We'll hide the cables and agree the price before drilling.
If your picture went downhill after building work nearby, that's a likely cause. The fix might be re-aiming the aerial, moving it to another part of the roof or fitting a higher-gain model. A Freesat dish is another option if the view south-east is blocked.
