West London picks up Freeview from Crystal Palace, looking south-east across the city. Along the Thames through Fulham, Hammersmith and Chiswick the land is low and open, so most well-maintained aerials do fine. Further north around Notting Hill and Shepherd's Bush, tall terraces and blocks packed close together can shadow lower roofs, so the aerial position matters more. We check readings before deciding where to mount it.
Grand terraces and mansion blocks in Kensington and Notting Hill are often split into flats with shared systems, and many sit in conservation areas. That means discreet installs, loft aerials where they work, and Sky Stream for owners who want Sky without a dish on the front.
Fulham and Chiswick have long streets of Victorian terraces, while Brentford has newer riverside apartments. In the terraces we replace ageing chimney aerials and add TV points; in the new flats we connect to the communal system and wall-mount TVs. Brentford flats often need TVs mounted on plasterboard walls, which takes the right fixings.

He quickly diagnosed the problem as not being the aerial, but the masthead amp & power unit. He had a spare on his van, and the work was completed within 30 minutes.

Yes. Sky Stream needs only broadband, so there's no dish at all. If your building already has a communal dish, we can connect a Sky box to it instead. Both options avoid adding anything visible to a period frontage.
Chimney lashings and brackets rust over time and the aerial starts to swing in the wind, which makes the picture break up. We'll replace the lashing kit or bracket, fit a new aerial if needed and realign it to Crystal Palace.
